We would not be able to bring our high quality programme, education projects, festival events or museum projects without the generous support of our funders. Did you know that North Devon Theatres’ Trust is a registered charity? Each year we need to raise up to £700,000 from donors, sponsors, grant makers and charitable trusts and foundations to make our work possible. Every year we see: |

It’s easy to think when you come to a full house that we must be making lots of money, but the reality is that on average only 16 pence out of every pound taken at the box office stays with us; the other 84 pence goes to the artists, producers, in royalties and in taxes. This leaves us very little to run the organisation and maintain our buildings, which is why we introduced our Love Arts scheme as a direct way of keeping the buildings up to date. Any surpluses made on individual shows are, because of our charitable status, recycled straight back into our general artistic, education and community programme, to benefit the communities of North Devon. What we will achieve with your help: |

We are passionate about what we do, and hope that you are too. By coming to one of our events, you help to keep the Theatres, Festival and Museum thriving. However, with funding cuts pressuring our work on every side, your support is more valuable than ever. If you can, please make a donation.

By leaving a gift in your will to the North Devon Theatres, you will help us to continue to inspire the audiences of tomorrow, to present quality arts entertainment, and to nurture new talent from North Devon. You will be contributing directly to North Devon’s cultural heritage. Your donation, large or small, will have a lasting impact. People often think that only the very wealthy leave money to charity in their wills. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The reality is that without people like you, many charities that we know and support today wouldn’t even exist. Please contact us (Jo Griffiths 01271 334678) for an informal discussion or more details. |
